This program is built to do exactly that-connecting businesses with non-profit organizations and initiatives that make a real impact, from food insecurity and mental health to youth sports, arts, education, and cultural events.

The Three Components of Cause – Stop – Connect
Sign Up – Get a Snapshot Page
- A Snapshot: A dynamic full-page listing with all cause information. Used multiple times on a site. Info different on each directory for search engine optimization. We share new arrivals weekly with businesses throughout Crook County.
- Connected Businesses: Once a business has pledged support to you, a mini-info box is placed on Cause snapshot page for redirecting.
- Businesses: The Cause and business connect to discuss support options. Once completed, we upload the connection and pledge.
Pledge and Connections Happen
- Business Connects: We match organizations to their lists and confirm, or they can add to their pledge connections from our weekly updates.
- The Cause Connects: The cause organization or group can connect with the business directly to establish a new pledge relationship. We’ll upload a new one!
- The Agreement: The support agreement between the pledge and the connect are private matters. It can range from large single donations to monthly payments to goods or services provided by the business.
Extend Your Community Connection
- Volunteer Outreach: With Community Connect, further outreach for volunteer opportunities within your cause, organization, events and programs
- Activities: Use Community Connect as a central location for promoting engaging activities and events. Color coded for Volunteers, Activities or participation with both.

What kinds of businesses can participate?
Any kind of business can participate and be a part of the directory service and therefore a part of the Cause Connect program. Retail, professional, trades and homies can all benefit from inclusion.
What defines a “Pledge”
A pledge is defined as a support contribution to any designated non-profit cause also on the directory. The pledge can consist of cash donations, monthly donations, goods or services that are of benefit directly to the cause.
How long does the program last?
If both parties are a part of the directory services, we will continue to promote the relationship through this cause program. If we receive notice from one party or the other that they no longer have the connection, we will unplug it.
